James Mc Erlean provides other, supporting services - either alongside a retained assignment or on a stand-alone basis. These include:

Psychometric Assessments

We have consultants fully qualified to conduct Personality Profiling, Verbal Reasoning and Numerical Reasoning Exercises. Clients often use these at shortlist stage on retained assignments or when they are making a choice between two closely matched candidates. But we also assist clients in assessing existing staff in a variety of contexts, including organisational change and management development.

Response Management

When a client does not wish to use the full-retained consultancy approach, we can provide Advertising Response Management. This frequently involves placing an advertisement in the press on our client's behalf - often confidentially - then using our specially designed back-office systems to handle the response, including full candidate communication. In many cases, we will also use our consultants' experience to assist clients in assessing the response - for example, sorting them into 'must see', 'might see' and 'inappropriate'.

Remuneration Advice

This might range from informal advice based on our experience of a particular role or sector to an introduction to our specialist contacts, who can provide in-depth information based on an extensive range of surveys.
